Conditions
The mare is booked specifically by name. The booking is valid to the mare named and may not be transferred without the written consent of Westernesse Morgans. Breeding fees to Pine Ridge (frozen semen) entitle the mare owner to a maximum of 6 frozen semen straws per shipment for the purpose of producing one live foal. Additional shipments may be sent if necessary. Straws may be used in 2006 or 2007 if the mare is discovered not in foal. Substitution for the mare named on the breeding contract is approved only with written consent from Westernesse Morgans. Best results are obtained if two straws of frozen semen are inseminated into your mare on the two sequential days surrounding ovulation. Customized arrangements may be made to fit your needs. Additional costs may include mare care if the mare is brought to the stallion, or transported semen costs if transported semen is desire. The cost of shipping and handling for frozen semen is $350 for 2 straws, $450 for 4 straws, or $550 for 6 straws. This includes all collection, freezing, shipping to your facility. You are responsible for the return postage for the shipping container. There is a deposit on the shipping container. This is usually in check form which is not cashed unless the container is not returned. Additional shipments will be made if necessary. Breeding fee to Triple S Nugget and W Nuggets Rebels Are We (or Pine Ridge if using cooled semen) includes all stallion expenses excluding the collection-shipping to your facility and handling fee of $300/collection. You are responsible for the return postage for the shipping container. There is a container deposit of $250 which is kept until the container is returned at which point the deposit is returned to you. All mare care and insemination fees are the responsibility of the mare owner including transport and shipping expenses of semen. After the balance of the breeding fee has been received by Westernesse, notification will be given that fees have been paid in full and semen will be shipped at your request. Breeding season for Triple S Nugget is April 1 – August 31. Breeding season for W Nugget’s Rebels Are We is April 1 – August 31 with exceptions Breeding season for Pine Ridge cooled is April 1 – August 31. No limitations on frozen.
